A short report from our roving reporter, social & Glengavel convenor Bill Nelson –
“I am sad today to inform members that the Boathouse Bistro at the loch has been broken into , at first glance it appeared nothing was taken however on further investigation we have found that Billy Mc Cluskies box has also had the padlock cut and his famous frying pan stolen.
I had the responsibility of breaking the news to him this afternoon and may i say i have never witnessed a man in such distress, after a period of time all Billy was able to say was ( and i quote ) “The pan was fairly new and i had only changed the creash in August “any further quotes will be through his legal team.
Lanarkshires Chief of Police said today a team of Scotlands finest investigators would be deployed to the case and no stone would be left unturned until the perpetrators of this heinous crime were caught and brought to justice, he also appealed for any witnesses to come forward as there is a large reward for any information leading to apprehension of this criminal. The public have been warned not to approach this highly dangerous person as he is armed with the frying pan.
