Stan’s Photos

Think it would be easy to have a page like this full of photos of Fish – but think it would be more intresting if the photos were of the Club Members & maybe views of places on our waters from a different perspective than Angling –

Below is a series of recent photos by our member Stan Broom which let you see places around Glengavel that you might not manage to see any other way.

Sunset At The Tap End - bet the midges were biting Stan?A cracking view of the water at the Tap End late one June evening – in a flat calm – bet the midges were biting Stan?

The Old Bothy Table – what were the bothys originally intended for & what else were they used for over the years – does anybody know of any photos of them being used?

This is a great view of the reservoir looking east & you would need a hard walk from the dam wall to reach this vantage point.

A view up the Spoutloch Burn Glen towards one of our mysterious Bothys.

A view from the boat house familar to all our anglers.

This bothy on it’s last legs – this could be it’s last summer – when was it built?

Does the unit in the photo above give us some kind of clue to the use of the bothy?

Another great view looking east across Glengavel.

Well done Stan thanks for the photos!!!
